3O Pizza Express

3O spent a lively morning with the restaurants manager and chef at Pizza Express learning about good food, tasting their fresh ingredients, and of course, making their own authentic, Italian pizza. Firstly, the manager ran through some important cooking basics. Things like washing our hands and staying safe in the kitchen. Then we had the chance to knead the dough, making it lovely and smooth, creating the perfect base. Then we discovered just how important the fresh ingredients are to the pizza’s flavour and we took part in an ‘Ingredients Quiz’. Finally we topped our creations with the famous passata (tomato) sauce, mozzarella and basil. They were delicious!
