3B Manchester Airport Aero Zone trip

3B had an excellent day at Manchester Airport's Aero Zone. We learned about the history of Manchester Airport and studied some interesting artefacts. We had a special visit from two members of Manchester Airport's security team, who shared lots of information about how the airport's security works. We had a go at doing the many jobs at the aiport - cabin crew, pilots, check-in assistants, airport security, baggage handlers, retail staff, firefighters and ground control! We ended the trip with a tour of the newly refurbished Terminal 2, where we had the chance to see some jobs in action and speak to members of staff.
