On Monday 10th June, Miss Moulsher and Miss Gregory had the pleasure of watching Bea and Imogen perform in the Creative Writing Challenge at The Lowry Theatre. Both girls were shortlisted from over 600 submissions and spent some of their Easter break rehearsing their performances alongside children from all over Greater Manchester. Bea performed her poem, I’d Be A Good Girl, to display her passion for feminism and went on to win the poetry category! Imogen performed her short story, Black Hood, which demonstrated her creative story-telling abilities. Imogen went on to win the short story category! Both Bea and Imogen loved having the opportunity to showcase their amazing talents and made new friends along the way! We are extremely proud of both the girls’ achievements and cannot wait to see where their creative ventures take them in the near future. Thank you for a great night, Bea and Imogen.
